If I’m such a great trader, why do I teach other people? Right? All right, here’s the truth. The truth is realistically three answers. Answer number one, I like it. I really do like teaching. When I graduated high school, I was a two-time team captain of my wrestling team, where I was able to educate and teach my wrestlers, my team members. I liked that. Then I went to the Fire Academy. I became an emergency medical technician, basic, nationally certified, and a professional firefighter, one and two, nationally certified. I was the squad leader where I was able to educate my squad. Okay? And then, I became a personal trainer because I have passion. I enjoy helping others. That’s what I like. When I wake up in the morning, I say to myself, “How can I help other people?“
How can I help other people?
Because Zig Ziglar says this, and I really truly believe this. “You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.” What that means is I wake up saying, “How can I help you get what you want?” Because at the end of the day, if I do that enough, you’re going to turn around and say, “Okay, Josh, now that I got what I want, how can I help you get what you want?” What I don’t do is I don’t wake up and say, “Give me, give me, give me, give me.” I’m not a taker. That’s just not who I am. Okay. So, that’s number one. I like it. I enjoy it. I truly, truly enjoy teaching.
I am an entrepreneur
Number two, I am an entrepreneur. I am an American. I live in the United States, land of the free home of the brave. And one of the neat things about being an American is you can take risks in life. You put your reputation on the line. And the fact of the matter is I enjoy building businesses. I do enjoy generating a return on my time in the business. So, I am doing something that I’m passionate about, and I’m also getting a return on my investment of time, energy, and resources. That’s number two. And the fact of the matter is number three. It’s just the right thing to do. You know, at the end of the day, for me, I believe in Jesus Christ, and I believe in heavenly Father. Okay? And the fact of the matter is I have a life skill that really helped me get out of my rut. I have track records of performances. I’m third-party verified. I’m the real deal.
Do I win everything? No. Do I lose? Yes. Have I lost a lot? Absolutely. But I’ve also helped a lot of people. The fact of the matter is you can be the type of person who has a life skill, who can make a bunch of money on your own, and you can keep it to yourself, and that’s good for you. But that’s not who I am. For me, when I die and I go see my maker and I say, “I learned a life skill, and I was able to impact over a million individuals on a financial level to provide them the skill and the research and the ability to change their own life.” Think about this for a moment. Think about this because this is what I think of. Am I going to be an educator forever? No, I don’t have every intention to be an educator forever.
But why I’m doing this, this is what I think.
I think of the person who literally is like me. I grew up from a separated home. I don’t know what it’s like to have a mom and a dad in the same household. I don’t know what it’s like. I have five brothers and sisters. I’m one of six kids, and my parents were separated. I lived literally house to house growing up, and I moved all over the place. I know what it’s like to be poor. I also know what it’s like to live a wealthy lifestyle. And I think of the person who literally says to themselves, “I’m doing everything in my power to do the right thing, and I’m still falling short.” They go to school. They get in debt. They can’t get a job. They get a job, and it’s not enough. Their bills are more than what they. And the fact of the matter is I have a life skill, and I have the ability and the passion to educate another individual on how to obtain a life skill, which can solve their money problems.
Not always, but a lot of the times, in my opinion. So when I die and I go see heavenly Father, and I say, “I was able to impact individual’s lives, and that person was able to break their chain.” Okay? Think about this. They grew up poor. They grew up in a separated family. They don’t know what it’s like to have stability, and finally, they have a life skill that can get them out of that rut. Then they start a family, and then they pass on that skill because the skill that I teach others they can teach to their children. They can teach their friends. They can teach their loved ones. And that allows a new cycle. And if I can do that, great. I can go to bed, and I can sleep happy and smiling.
My 3 Reasons
I get it. I understand. I understand the argument, “If you’re so good, you don’t have to do this.” You’re right. I don’t have to do this, but I like to do this. So why do I do this? Three things. Number one, I’m good at it. I love it. I’m passionate about it. Number two, I love the business side of it. I truly do. I love bringing in jobs. I love paying our team members very well. I love the entrepreneurship. I love the skill of it. And I love the return on the investment of the business side. I’m an American, the American dream. That’s the way it goes. You put up the risk. You get the reward. And number three, when I die, I’m going to go see my maker and say, “I did everything in my power to help others with the skill that I had.”
Now, am I going to do this forever? No, I do ultimately have every intention to stop educating when I get older, and then I plan on managing money for the rest of my life. All right, that’s the reason why. Hopefully, that makes sense,
