This is the small-cap Russell 2000 index blasting off after Trump’s victory.
All the major indices took off – but the jump in the Russell 2000 was the most noteworthy.
As you can see, the index had been setting up for a big move up anyway, with an ascending triangle pattern.
Still, the size of the move probably took a lot of traders by surprise.
