A sharp-dressed figure stands at a crossroads, one path illuminated by a spotlight representing a charismatic, larger-than-life personality (suggested by a blurred crowd or media cameras), while the other path leads toward a clear financial chart showing upward momentum. In the foreground, a magnifying glass hovers over a document filled with stock transaction records, symbolizing the act of scrutinizing insider buying activity rather than following celebrity opinions. Hey friend,

Earlier this morning, we got the usual weekly jobless claims as well as leading indicators for the economy.

Both numbers were encouraging, with jobless claims coming in below expectations and last week’s figures…

While the leading economic indicators also outperformed expectations and last month’s numbers.

Let’s see how the markets have been moving.

The Daily Direction

Note: All indexes closed higher yesterday but opened lower this morning – sending the near-term directions for the Dow, Nasdaq, and Russell 2000 back into downward territory.

The Daily Nugget

Follow incentives, not personalities.

It’s easy to put too much weight on who is saying something.

A famous investor sounds confident on TV.

A CEO gives a polished interview.

An analyst makes a bold call.

Maybe they’re right.

But before you put much weight on the opinion, ask a simpler question:

What happens to them if they’re wrong?

That usually tells you more.

Someone making a prediction on television may have very little riding on it.

Someone allocating real money has a lot more at stake.

The same idea applies inside a company.

Earlier today, Head Trader Ross Givens pointed out that more management teams are raising guidance.

That’s useful because raising guidance makes their own job harder.

They’re giving Wall Street a higher number to judge them against next quarter.

In other words, there’s a consequence attached to the optimism…

And consequences are powerful incentives.

And you can take that idea one step further.

If somebody close to a business is willing to put their own money behind what they’re seeing…

Now their incentives are even clearer.

That doesn’t mean you hand your decision-making over to them.

It means you pay more attention to actions where the person making the decision has something real to gain – or lose.

So whenever you hear a strong opinion, try looking past the personality.

Ask what’s actually at stake.

The answer can tell you how seriously to take the signal.

That’s why in just a few hours at 3 p.m. Eastern…

Ross is going LIVE to show one market application of this idea: how he tracks legal purchases made by corporate insiders with their own money.

And separates the routine activity from the signals he actually wants to see.

He’ll demo his proven strategy for tracking down the high-conviction insider purchases…

As well as expose the warning signs you must know of…

And his 3 counterintuitive insider buying signals he’s been relying on for nearly a decade.

This strategy recently led us to two stocks that have nearly doubled in less than three months…

And it could have had you sitting on open gains like 806%… 272%… and even 1,515%.

So click here to secure your free seat if you haven’t already…

And Ross will see you in just a bit at 3 p.m. ET.
