A powerful upward-trending stock chart rendered in bold green lines surges dramatically against a dark background, with glowing software or code elements subtly reflected in the surface below. A bear figurine sits small and overshadowed in the corner, dwarfed by the rising momentum of the chart. The overall composition conveys a clear sense of reversal and resurgence, with dynamic lighting that makes the upward movement feel unstoppable.

Hey, Ross here:

Software stocks are giving the bears a problem.

After spending months hearing how AI could threaten their businesses, buyers have pushed a major software fund back toward its record high.

Take a look.

Chart of the Day

Weekly candlestick chart of the iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF (IGV), showing price history from late 2021 through 2026, colored moving-average lines and trading volume bars.

This is IGV, an exchange-traded fund focused on software stocks.

As of Friday, it was less than 5% below its record weekly closing high, after reaching its highest level in nearly a year.

That's a substantial recovery for a group so many investors had been worried about.

Microsoft and Palantir have helped drive the strength.

Cybersecurity stocks have also been climbing, with the cybersecurity ETF, CIBR, closing at a record high on Friday.

It wasn’t so long ago that people were proclaiming that AI would eat software’s lunch…

And that all software companies were pretty much done for.

The price tells me otherwise.

Now, I don't take that as proof that every software company will thrive in an AI world.

But it does tell me buyers are willing to pay higher prices for companies in a group the bearish argument would have you avoid.

And there’s a broader lesson buried here…

One that – if not taken to heart – will cost you a lot of money.

I explain below.

Insight of the Day

An old opinion can cost you a new opportunity.

That’s why I want to know where people with an inside view are putting their own money.

They know things the average investor doesn’t, so I want to know where they’re placing their bets.

And that goes well beyond corporate executives.

Members of Congress are buying and selling stocks too – including companies affected by the policies they help shape.

I want to see which stocks they’re choosing.

And at 11 a.m. Eastern today, I’m going to show you how you can track those transactions yourself.

My team and I have spent months building a new intelligence platform that puts YOU in control.

You can follow the latest reported trades from politicians and corporate insiders, see exactly which stocks they bought or sold, and find opportunities you might otherwise miss.

Today, I’ll pull back the curtain on that platform and show you the stocks U.S. representatives have been trading.

You’ll see how to use it yourself – so you can keep tracking their transactions long after the briefing ends.

This is much bigger than another presentation about following insiders.

You’re going to see the tool we built to put that intelligence at your fingertips.

The briefing is free, but our virtual room has been filling up.

So click here to guarantee your free seat if you haven't yet.

I'll see you in just a bit at 11 a.m. ET.
