Yesterday’s Fed meeting minutes showed a definite hawkish tilt, with some members even favoring a rate increase should inflation remain above target.
The usual weekly jobless claims numbers came in this morning.
It came in significantly below expectations – showing the biggest decline since November.
However, the latest leading economic indicators showed a continued decline, albeit a decline that was in line with expectations.
