Hey, Ross here:

We’ve spent plenty of time on inflation and the Fed this week.

Today, I want to show you what traders have been pricing into individual stocks.

Chart of the Day

S&P 500 constituent and index one-month implied volatility, with their spread shown below.

These lines compare the size of the moves priced into options on individual S&P 500 stocks with those priced into the index.

The gap had widened to 3.1 times – near the top of its range over the past year.

In other words, traders expect individual stocks to see swings more than three times larger compared to the index.

And this extends well beyond a few tech stocks.

Green and red heat map comparing S&P 500, sectors and thematic stock groups.

Each box represents a sector or group of stocks.

Green means traders have increased their expectations for how much those stocks will swing compared with the S&P 500.

Red means that comparison has moved lower.

And you can see, it’s not limited to technology.

There are huge increases across sectors from biotech and financials to energy and real estate.

And with earnings season getting underway, there’s more company-specific news ahead to drive those swings.

I explain what that means below.

Insight of the Day

We could see single-stock moves get even sharper.

Earnings season gives individual stocks plenty of reasons to pull further apart.

A company raising its outlook can bring in buyers while a competitor cutting its forecast gets dumped.

Those moves can partly cancel each other out in the index.

But if you own either stock, you feel the full move.

And if trading thins out as investors grow cautious, those reactions can become even sharper.

So we could see some violent moves in both directions, even without an equally dramatic move in the index.

That’s why I want to focus on companies with positive developments strong enough to attract fresh buying.

The problem is that, by the time these developments become public…

They’ve already been priced in.

So the question becomes…

How can we target stocks with these positive developments – before the public becomes aware of them?

We can do that by looking at who has knowledge of these developments before the rest…

The corporate insiders.

High-ranking executives like CEOs and CFOs exploiting an SEC loophole to snap up stocks in their own companies.

Following insiders like these has helped us identify stocks that moved 771% in two months… 157% in two weeks… and even 321% in two days.

And in just a few hours at 11 a.m. Eastern today…

I’ll show you how we uncover these purchases – and how you can legally follow along.

I’ll walk you through the insider strategy step by step…

And reveal the details of new opportunities teeing up right now.

The training is free, but space is limited and we expect a packed house.

Click here to guarantee your free seat if you haven’t already…

And I’ll see you in just a bit at 11 a.m. ET sharp.

Customer Story of the Day

“Ross is a minefield of knowledge…

Really enjoying his live sessions – a lot of information to process being new enough to the game.

But I’m enjoying the teaching style as he breaks things down well and says it how it is – no fluff no messing about.

This man knows his onions recommend 10/10”

Embrace the surge,
